We survived weeks 1 and 2 and have now entered week 3. Hard to believe! Danny is growing and has changed so much already. He's now weighing in at 9 lbs, 4 oz after dipping down to 7.14 in the hospital. We're loving getting to know him and him to know us - although he's pretty much a sleeper and eater these days with a few moments in between of altertness. Every day we do seem to see his eyes a bit more and more; it's looking like he'll have light eyes like his brother but still too early to tell for sure I suppose.
Tommy has taken to Danny and asks about him, wants to console when "sad" aka crying and we have to remind gentle touches when he wants to "pet."
We are all learning our "new dance steps" as someone gave the analogy - it's a bit tricky at first but we're getting better everyday.
We've had some visitors since Danny's arrival. Sadly there is no picture of "Aunt Molly" but we did plop Lucy (Mills) and Danny next to each. Here Lucy is 11-weeks and Danny just about 1. Pretty crazy the difference and hard to believe Danny will be there so soon. Danny not loving the photo shoot.

A little bean on Gigi's lap.

The Maddens visit - Danny hanging with Colleen (who is due in late March - Liam is going to be a big brother too! Woo Hoo).

The boys enjoying a bagel breakfast!
More cuddle time with Gigi and Papi!

The Martin Boys :)

The fam

The Godleys also visited. Danny cuddling with Sarah.

Gigi and her boys. A shot taken right before she had to head back to KC! We LOVED having Gigi and Papi hang with us for the week. They were so helpful, a billion trips to Target and grocery and just hanging out - special play time for Tommy too. Thanks for being here and cannot wait to see you again hopefully soon!!

Tommy is obsessed with wagons so upon Danny's arrival, Tommy's Mom and Dad thought it would be fun to surprise him with a wagon. It's been very fun strolling it around the neighborhood. Tommy wants Danny to "sit" in it with him and we promised him soon enough he'll be in there.

This is the life...

I even wanted to dine in it the first night.

Dad hanging with the boys.

I'm awake - got to take a quick shot before those eyes close again.

As most of you know, there is a trait that runs in the Martin family, webbed toes. Mike has them as did his Grandmother. It's the 2nd and 3rd toe. Lucky for Danny, he follows in his old man's footsteps.

Another close up of the webbed toes.
Danny has gotten to know this bouncy seat pretty well!

The little peanut and his Dad catching a little shut eye.

The Mills girls came to play - Tommy and Finley enjoying some lunch.
