Liam is Baptised

My good friend Liam Madden was baptised over the weekend. He was a star and didn't budge when the water hit his head. He even giggled a little. Congrats Liam!

Here I am with friends Liam and Claire and Liam's aunt Kaite which has exciting news and is pregnant and due in April - yeah Katie!

Angelic Liam and Mom Colleen.

Liam's Grandma from PA also joined the celebration.

Best Friends

I want to see what's out there too!

Telling secrets.

I think the new neighbors are moving in and have friends for both of us.

Not sure what to think.

And over there we have lots to wave and bark at.

Go Irish!

Like every littl tike, the remote control is by far my favorite toy!

9-months

I was 9-months on Sept. 17th. Hard to believe! I am growing and changing like crazy these days. I crawl around everywhere, often times racing Maddie. I love to wave bye-bye, sometimes to myself. I'm getting better at feeding myself yummy foods. I think it's very funny (often giggling out loud) to hold out my hand and give Maddie food and have her lick my hand or drop things on the floor - we're becoming even better friends. September has flown by and we're entering fall here in Denver - leaves are changing and it's beautiful.

Football is in full effect despite the Irish being a little scary at moments. A little improvement over last year so far and that's all we can ask for at this time.

I've figured out how to crawl under my exersaucer.

Enough fun for now, I want out of here.

Labor Day in Telluride

We took a family trip to Telluride over Labor Day weekend! It is one of the most beautiful places and great mountain town. We had been to the Bluegrass Fest with friends and camped a few years back. Quite a different trip this time around but much fun!

Tommy rode on his first gondola, got to ride in a fancy new backpack on a pretty hike and did a great job on the long journey from Denver over some fairly rugged terrain (we opted to take some scenic side roads along the way - amazing!) It was the Film Festival over the weekend. We didn't have any celeb sightings but Suri Cruise did put a call in to Tommy to come over to play in her mountain pad, but he was too busy that day :)

Maddie, we wish you were here!

My first gondola ride!

The start of our pretty hike. This is the life. Quite the work out for Mom and Dad with an extra 20+ lbs. floating on their backs. I did have fun and smiled most of the journey. I made all the other hikers happy along the way by giving them a big ole smile.

Cowboy and his buckaroo.

We made it!

Flying like an airplane.

another pretty ride on the gondola

this is fun and i've got a great view

very pretty sunset

Pretty sunset from the Lodge nearby.

We think the phrase "and purple mountains majesty" came from Telluride!

Clown.

Before heading back to Denver, Mom was showing me the pretty trees and chirpping birds.

Waving "bye, bye." I'm starting to get the hang of that one.

Practicing

Here I am in my new "high chair." I liked cousin Charlie's chair so much, that I got one of my own. It attaches to any table. Since we are trying to sell our house, it's much easier to get out of the way and move around. Someday soon I'll have a different chair in my new house. For now this is perfect.

I am starting to figure out this food thing. I sometimes pick it up and just let it sit in my hand. Often times if Maddie is around, I just let her lick my hand with the food in it. I'll figure it out one day very soon!

I am also a big lounger. I like to stick my feet up on everything - even when in my chair.

Trying to get the Kix. Grandma Linda recommended trying Kix because they stand up and are a little easier to grab than Cheerios at the moment. Good idea!

As you can see, I like to put my hand in my mouth upside down. It's pretty funny really. Here I have 3 stuck to my hand - ymmm.

Now trying some yougurt that melts in your mouth - literally. Kind of tastes like astrounat ice cream.

Still not quite sure how to manage all of these at once :)

Just playing around

We had a fun playdate in the park with Finley Mills and Claire Godley. Claire is now 6-weeks old and growing like crazy. I am just hanging out with Claire and her mom Sarah.

Yes, I am starting to get teeth. I am slowing getting more interested in real food. Little by little.
