First day of school

Tommy all smiles for the first day of school! He was very excited to see his friends and get back to "work."

In backwards order here but Maddie is ready and waiting...Danny all smiles throughout it all - little does he know his cherrios are being stalked!

Go!

Get set...

On your mark...

Peek-a-boo, where are you?

Here we are!!!

A Labor Day Hike

Over Labor Day weekend, we took a drive to a nearby open space area with beautiful hiking along a creek. Both boys were in good spirits and ready to go.

Dad and his bud.
Tommy immediately found his walking stick

As we all know, we are all things cars, trucks and things that go. Add to the list, bridges! Engineers in the works? And check out my stick, please.

Danny was too cute resting his hand on Dad's shoulder most of the "hike"

Using my stick to draw in the dirt

Bustling water down below

Moments

Here are just a few recent moments...

I couldn't resist - a sleeping baby is the best especially with those feet crossed!
Gearing up for some Irish football - too bad they lost tho there has been improvement since this shot!

Our neighbors have a mobile home and just returned from a trip. Tommy was riding bikes with pals Ainsley and Charlie when all 3 kiddos were invited for a trip around the block in the RV. Wow, was that a hit! Mom and Dad have traveled in an RV a couple of times although I imagine it wasn't quite like the neighbors experiences :)

Smiley guy!

You caught me, I like cake. At a recent birthday party, they opted for ladybug cupcakes (aka red frosting). Needless to say lots of clown look-a-likes at the conclusion! Yum!

Camino de Santiago!

Way to go Aunt Beth on completing the Camino de Santiago! Aunt Beth walked 500 miles in 31 days from mid July to mid August across Spain. It's quite the adventure and accomplishment where other pilgrims have ventured. We hope your feet feel back to normal soon!

Thanks for our cute t-shirts!

Aunt Beth was needing encouragement along the way so Mom helped give her some by sending this pic along. Tommy had a headache for a couple of days so to help he wore the "Cars" band aid for a couple of days as well :) He was soon feeling much better! Ah, the healing power of a Cars band aid.

Watercolor 2011

The first week of August we ventured to Watercolor FL to meet up with our cousins. It was a fun week of swimming, biking, fishing along with many other fun activities in the hot, Florida sun! Glad we were all able to spend some time together. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for getting us all together and organizing a fun week!

Uncle Brian also posted some fun pics and a movie:

Danny and his frequent dining companion June!
Serious discussions between Tommy and Charlie. Grace is saying enough already...

One of many bike rides around Watercolor. It was fun toting all the little ones around. The camera fogged up from the heat here. Ready to go.

A little foggy here too but again ready for a ride pre-swim.

Cousin Mattie enjoying some dinner!

It's ok Danny, Aunt Lexi really is a lot of fun and not so scary :) Danny seemed attached to his parents this week - rarely letting another hold him. I guess we're so cool!

Crazy guy.

Having fun with the noodles on the porch - frick and frack in action...

We got you

Mattie and Aunt Chris working on a puzzle. Mattie loves puzzles and Tommy thought he'd "help" out a little.

Building towers. Grace still wearing her butterfly face paint from Camp Watercolor.

Beach time. Check out my curls. Dad and I were able to show our stuff in the humid FL weather.

Checking out the pretty sand castle. I enjoyed eating some too.

Gorgeous water, almost bath like, and easy to stand in.

Fun times together!

The boys

The little fish Charlie, surfing and all.

Check out the waves - the perfect size for a fun day at the beach.

Buddies

Hangin'

Loungin' with some lunch - not too shabby

Swa Comes to Visit

In late July, Mom's good friend Susie came to visit from San Fran! Thanks for flying out to see us. We loved having you and hope to see you soon. Go Irish - yes, we will still cheer them on despite being 0-2 at the moment :) oxox
