Since our last round of posts, I have been VERY busy and changing like crazy. I went from sitting up, to rocking on all fours, to pulling myself across the floor, to crawling, to sitting up in bed, to standing up in bed and now trying to pull myself up on things. I can't be left alone for long because I want to get into everything. My Mom and Dad knew that day would come one day soon and it's definitely changed the way of getting things done around the house. Dad had to put my crib mattress down and he had a bolt problem but with much patience and almost over 2-hours of manual labor, he took care of business so I wouldn't pop out of bed like my Mom did when she was little and Gigi and Papi put a fishing net over her crib to keep her in. We've had some fun summer BBQs, visited KC for a weekend and now our house is on the market so I can have more room for all of my stuff :) Hopefully I will help Mom and Dad keep it clean during the showing phase.

I'm also quite the little talker - constantly telling stories and sharing the days tales. My parents seem to enjoy and are very curious as to what is going on inside my head. I will never tell! I'm still a pretty happy little guy, easy going. I did a pretty good job going through the airports with my Mom. I wasn't fussy just a bit squirmy but we managed fine. Fall begins soon which means football so I'm gearing up to cheer on the Irish and Jayhawks.

Hope all of you are well and to see you soon!

Pulling up on my stool.
Um, I think I'll stay right here for now. Why rush it.

Here I am just standing up in my crib. Time to drop that mattress.

What, I'm supposed to be sleeping and not standing in my crib. This is way more fun than sleeping.

Hanging at the Lake

Such a lucky little 8-month old! I went back to KC and hung out with Papi & Gigi again. My parents got a night out at a wedding so I was spoiled as usual with them gone. We played at the lake and I had a visit with Grams and Aunt Donna.

After coffee I did a little light reading of Rudder Magazine - learned all about boats.

Please, don't bother me, can't you see I'm reading here.

Starting to crawl.

Just hanging with Molly the dog.

One of my many stories. I like to pontificate...literally...."and over here we have a fabulous view of the lake with the pretty flowers and pine trees..."

I really like these handles - way better than the 100 toys I have lying around.

Gigi likes to crank up the air and watch me surf on the vent. I love the breeze blowing in my face :)
Back on the boat and Lake Geta Lotta Whatcha Wanna!

Papi letting me drive - 8-months is the legal age, right?

A Visit with Grams & Aunt Donna

Fun with Grams!

Cuddling with Aunt Donna!
This singing monkey is fun

Learning all about Papi during his wild days.

Playdate with Finley

My new fancy and BEAUTIFUL sweater that Molly knitted for me. It's adorable and I cannot wait to wear it when it cools down a bit. That was such a nice gift - I love the fish buttons too :) Thanks Molly!

Mom trying to cuddle - yeah right.

Hanging with Finley and Jimbo wa toe toe.

Telling Finley one of my funny stories. Not sure that she's getting it :)

Maddie showing me the downward dog!

Still sleepy but I can now sit-up in bed.

Practicing my "ba, ba, bas."

Playdates with Liam

We've had a couple of fun playdates with Liam Madden recently. Not sure why I'm Mr. pouty pants here - ah, so sad for Tommy :) Liam is growing like crazy.

Much happier now that I can touch Liam's cute little toes and Mr. Bee.

I'm just going to gently touch Liam's face..maybe a tap on the nose.

Um, not so much. I prefer to check out his entire face including his eye. Yikes, TOM.

Welcome Claire Bash Godley

My new friend Claire Bash Godley arrived on July 29th! Congrats to Sarah & Matt. It was so fun to meet you and we all cannot wait to spend more time with you soon and get to know you. You are the sweetest :)

I am a giant next to little Claire. It's hard to believe I was that small once too.

Mom with proud parents and Ms. Claire.

Florida Grandparents Come to Visit

Thanks for coming to visit from Florida. Hope you had a fun time in the mountains and got to relax a little bit. We loved seeing you and hope to see you again soon.

Playing with Grandpa before I go to bed and my parents sneak out for a fun dinner out with Grandma and Grandpa.
Just chillin' with Grandpa
